Premier’s Awards for Outstanding Cancer Research

The 2009 Premier’s Awards for Outstanding Cancer Research celebrate cancer research in NSW.

The awards support improvements in the prevention, detection, diagnosis, clinical trials and treatment of cancer.

This year there are 5 awards:

• Outstanding cancer researcher
• Outstanding cancer research fellow
• Outstanding cancer research scholar
• Excellence in translational cancer research
• Innovation in cancer clinical trials

Presentation of the awards will be at a formal black-tie event, bringing together more than 350 biomedical and clinical research leaders, cancer researchers and key cancer control stakeholders.

Date: Event on 21 May at 6.30pm at the Parkside Ballroom, Sydney Convention & Exhibition Centre. Tickets are now on sale and must be purchased by 13 May.
