NSW Ambulance fees
If you have received treatment and/or transport from NSW Ambulance, you will need to pay a fee for this service, unless you have a concession card or health insurance cover that makes you exempt from payment.
If you're eligible, you can request a payment exemption.
If you have received an invoice from NSW Ambulance and are not exempt you must pay before the due date to avoid further costs and action. If you have a concession card or health insurance cover you can request an exemption.
Ambulance fees are based on a call out plus kilometer charge. NSW Ambulance has more information.
If you are experiencing financial difficulty
If you are experiencing financial difficulty or other types of hardship, NSW Ambulance will consider your circumstances and may reduce or cancel your fee. Find out more
